About Me
Hello! I'm Bar, and I'm passionate about understanding earthquake dynamics with the goal of improving seismic hazard assessments. Throughout my career, I’ve explored subduction earthquake cycles from different angles and across various timescales—whether it’s through geodetic and geomorphological studies or diving into complex physics-based modeling. Currently, I’m a Green Postdoctoral Scholar at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego, where I’m using seismic cycle simulations to figure out if interseismic stresses can trigger ruptures in upper plate faults.
